Indranil Mitra has been working in Asansol Engineering College since 2003. He has covered over 16 years as Training and Placement Officer.
Before joining this college, he was working in the industry in the Sales and Marketing department in companies dealing with consumer goods, consumer durables and heavy industry goods.
After eight years of sales and marketing experience, he joined Asansol Engineering College.

Ms. Debika Chatterjee

With over 14 years of experience in Marketing and public relation, Debika has had the opportunity to work with some of the reputedorganizationsin Eastern India.
A graduate in English literature and a Post Graduate student of management studies, Debika with her prolific business acumen and flair in public relations, is a proud employee of Asansol Engineering College.
Presently she has been successfully handling her role by analysing market demands and accordingly conditioning the student pool, unlocking new avenues for many of them who are graduating every year. Being a swimmer in the past, Debika has great interests are in sports, reading and gaining cognitive knowledge.

- Manage Campus placement activities.
- Conducted workshops and seminars regarding campus preparation, interview skills and job search techniques.
- Orient students on job readiness techniques, job market and vocational information.
- Supported students, to obtain job of their choice and skill.
- Interact with various corporate human resource departments to understand current vacancies.
- Initiate and implement internship for students with the support of corporate and public sector organizations.
