Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
Message From HOD
"The department of Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering started in the year 2002. The department aims to produce engineering graduated with adequate theoretical and practical knowledge in the area of electronics as well as instrumentation so as to make them capable of design, construction and maintenance of modern Instrumentation systems. The curriculum of this department is good enough for employment in academia, government, research, industry, engineering and management positions. The department has highly qualified and dedicated faculties and well equipped laboratories. The faculties and students are encouraged to take part in various technical and non-technical events and forums in different renowned institutes and industries of our country which make them rich in concept and expertise. To motivate the students the department organizes regular industrial visits and industrial trainings in various industries. They are also encouraged to participate in state of art software & hardware competitions, workshops, National & International Conferences periodically. As a result most of our students get placed in various companies like TCS, IBM, ACCENTUER, INFOSYS, HP, WIPRO, MINDTREE, COGNIZANT, FULHAM INDIA (P) LTD, HONEYWELL, SYNTEL and many more. Above all, the process of learning is extremely important in life. What you learn, how you learn and where you learn play a crucial role in developing ones intellectual capability and social responsibility besides career. Hence on behalf of the Department of Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, I welcome you all to our department in Asansol Engineering College."
